Painted in Stone (feature documentary)​

Produced, Directed, Edited, and Written by John Fitch III.

 

The film explores the racially-charged controversy surrounding a 1930's Works Progress Administration mural at the University of Kentucky. The mural has been covered by the university administration for the second time in five years.

Selected by the Miami Independent Film Festival, Peak City International Film Festival, Mesa International Film Festival, Clifton Film Celebration, Golden State Film Festival, AAL Film Festival NYC.

Ma Chere Petite Maxyme (experimental)

Based on a poem, this experimental short film was set in Paris, France, but shot on super 16mm film in Savannah, Ga.

Two Brothers (documentary)

A documentary on an Iraq War veteran from eastern Kentucky whose struggles with PTSD are exacerbated by divorce, substance abuse and isolation. Featured on Kentucky Educational Television, Grand Rapids Film Festival, and Sunset Film Festival of Los Angeles.

Our Secret Season (short narrative)

This short comedy shot on the Eastern Kentucky University campus. Winner of the Best Short Film Award at​ Cinefest Movie Expo and Festival in Louisville, Ky. Featured at Vine Shorts Fest in Santa Monica, Ca. and on Kentucky Educational Television.

Dog Te Ching (experimental)

Based on a passage from the Tao Te Ching, this experimental micro-film was featured at the Indie Fest USA Film Festival in Downtown Disney, Anaheim, Ca., Santa Fe Metaphysical Film Festival and on Kentucky Educational Television.
